Dance Classes for Everyone: Salsa, Swing, Ballroom, Latin Dance, Wedding Dance and More.
"After our dance lessons with you, we went to a wedding. My girlfriend said it was the first time she's ever danced at a wedding, and that she actually enjoyed herself; it was not what she expected.
So, thanks for making the dancing easy, accessible, and fun... even for someone who thought she'd NEVER dance." Pat S., Cambridge, MA

2017 Dance Classes:
This is "the place" for dance lessons in Boston. Liz Nania is amazing and I'd give her 6 stars if I could. My partner and I started taking lessons this winter, and with Liz's help I've gone from avoiding the dance floor to looking forward to dance in just a few sessions. She is knowledgeable and patient, and focuses on what you are doing right before moving on to ideas to make you even better.
Her class is the perfect end/beginning to the work week, and it seems she also has a strange telekinetic ability to attract some of the nicest people I have ever met to her classes. :-) In addition, her rates are extremely affordable and she offers discounts for taking more than one class in a term. Tim. B., Dorchester, MA

You'll love learning the hottest dances worldwide: salsa is a beautiful, sexy and elegant dance, and merengue is the simplest of all dances: easy, upbeat and intuitive. If you don't already know and love salsa music, you will; and merengue can be danced to almost any club or dance party music, and of course, merengue music! We'll focus primarily on salsa, especially the essential right and left salsa turn patterns with lots of fun variations. There's nothing more exhilarating than learning and mastering enough well-executed salsa and merengue moves to dance with confidence at any party, social event or salsa club. Absolutely no dance experience or partner necessary.
Plus, folks who know a little salsa or merengue will also gain plenty of new skills. (This class is ideal for people who are totally new to salsa, and also those who have taken a previous salsa class with us, since we will not repeat material taught in our last two terms.)
Take a 2nd class and save $15; once you're here, you won't want to go home! We create a friendly and no-pressure atmosphere for optimum learning and fun.

Instructor Liz Nania, Director of OUT to Dance. Are you looking to learn some cool dance moves that'll cover a whole lot of musical ground, from contemporary pop to Latin to R'n'B? You may be amazed at how many current popular tunes played at social events, clubs, parties and weddings are actually cha cha and rhumba rhythms. The versatility, fun, and ease of learning cha cha and rhumba together is unbeatable. Whether these dances are totally new to you (or you know a few basics,) you'll learn a lot of exciting moves in this fun class. You'll discover that many of the specific moves in these two dances are shared with each other, so one cha cha move translates easily into the next rumba move you learn, helping you learn more quickly and easily. Cha cha and rhumba are also danced to contemporary non-Latin pop music as well, so you'll get to show off your dancing frequently at lots of events! (We'll be dancing the fun, social style of these dances, stuff you'd actually dance at a party, not the over-the-top performance style you may have seen.)
This unique and exhilarating class won't be offered again soon, so take the plunge and treat yourself to an unforgettable series of Monday. Absolutely no partner or experience necessary. It's surprisingly easy, tremendously fun, and you'll use it for a lifetime. Our classes are known for their friendly vibe and comfortable atmosphere. End your weekend on a high note and join us!
(If you need to miss any classes, you are entitled to one free drop-in class at any of our classes at your level, this term or next.) And no worries, we'll review every week in class.

We just agreed to go out dancing on New Year's eve. I would have never done this before taking lessons with Liz. I highly recommend her - especially if you are new to dancing and certainly if you, like me, have felt as though it is impossible to learn. She is funny, lively, and she is an expert in teaching novices. If you are considering dance lessons, I recommend that you give Liz a try. She makes it easy. I got more than my money's worth. J. Britt, Newton, MA

Our most recent review on Angie's List:
"My girlfriend and I took 10 lessons in merengue and salsa from Liz. I had never succeeded in dancing, despite many efforts, prior to taking these lessons.
I am a self-confessed, lifelong failure at dancing. It looks like it could be fun and it has been important, in each of my relationships, that dancing become a part of our time away from kids, work, and responsibility. I have taken salsa and swing lessons many times and, each time, I have completely embarrassed myself. I am not a natural at this and I grew to hate the thought of dancing, dance lessons, etc.
I am now settled and my life partner has desperately wanted me to learn to dance. After several years of avoidance, I reluctantly agreed to sign up for 10 lessons with Liz Nania at Out to Dance.
Bottom line: by the 4th or 5th lesson I started to enjoy it. By the 7th or 8th lesson, I could actually dance. Fred Astaire, I'm not. But I'm good enough to have fun and not embarrass myself. And, for my girlfriend, it is important. I got more than my money's worth." J. "Cutting loose on the dance floor in the company
of kindred spirits is one of the most energizing, healing, and
affirming things you can do for yourself. Dancing is a proven
stress-relieving action that can help heal and strengthen your
body, mind and spirit. When you dance, you're throwing a wild
party of endorphins inside yourself. And we can all surely use
a good, strong dose of healthy endorphins right now to help us
face a world of troubles!"
Director, OUT to Dance
"These dance classes are pure joy: the high
point of my week."
Sarah Bassler, Boston, MA
"Liz, can I just tell you how much fun I'm
finding your classes? It has been terrific. I look forward to
the next 6 sessions!" Lowell P., Dedham, MA
"I'm having more fun than I ever thought I
would when I signed up, me with multiple left feet. The atmosphere
is totally comfortable, and the other students are so much fun
to dance with. " Michael J., Norwood, MA
